4BT conversion - throttle linkage

I'm ready to start the swap and am going from a VE pump to the p- pump and need linkage or idea's to get this working with a chevy P-3500 truck. The pump does have a lever on the splined shaft, But I need to take it from there.
Who has crossed this issue, and what did you do?
