NV4500 and NP208 fluids
I have my NV4500 mated to the NP208 in my '85 ram project. The fluids are different and I have the rear shaft opening of the NV4500 tailhousing exposed to the front opening of the NP208. In other words, they are not isolated by any seals now. Right now the NV4500 has Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil and the NP208 has standard transmission fluid. Should I and can I change the NP208 over to Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil so I don't cross contaminate dissimular fluids?
