Anyone seen a cummins 3.3

Researching a diesel swap for my wrangler. The 3.3L cummins turbo diesel looks like the best bet. Does anyone have any experience with this engine. I think they have been widely used in skid steers and industrial applications of that nature. If anyone knows about this engine what can you tell me about it, would it be a good choice. And the most important question of all. Transmission capabilities. What can I hook to this, nv4500, gm trannys.
I think I could get 30 mpg with no effect off road. Possible?
