Question about Dodge driveline parts in 73-87 Chevy

I know the Cummins fits, but here is my question. Inevitably any truck I find will have 4.10 gears or something, I was wondering if I could put the axles from a first gen Dodge under a Chevy? I heard the springs are almost identical, the steering is the only thing I wonder about... Thanks
