Frame-off 64 Chevy C-10....CTD????

For the last two years I have been working on a 64 Chevy Stepside C-10...as money permits of course. In love with Diesel, I have pondered the idea about throwing a CTD into my 64 Chevy. Now, I have done no measuring or research on this, as I need to get the frame coated and all the other parts coated before I can have her rolling again, so I can get a ride height to see if that oil pan will cause an issue. I'm thinking if it does, I can work out some mounts to sit the engine up a little higher, and build a scoop out of the hood covering the head of the engine. Let me know what you guys think? Plausible?
