Need governor help with 4BT / VE pump to get higher RPMS...

Been searching for info and found very little about getting higher RPMs out of the 4BTs. There is a lot of good info in the Gen 1 section in the sticky at the top of the page in the thread "VE Pump / Governor threads merged." anyway, what I am trying to figure out is if all the part numbers for 4BTs and gen 1 6BTs for both governor springs and stiffer valve springs are the same, or if they are different..

If anyone has ANY relevant info about 4BT governor springs please let me know!

Also, has anyone messed with 4BTs and higher RPMs, and if so at what and what is safe??? My 4BTs seem to all be governed around 2300-2500 rpms max by Cummins... I expect up to about 3200 is probably fine or say about 2800-3000 rpms without putting in stiffer valve springs?

For now I am simply going to adjust the pump fuel arm stop nut but I know I will get some defueling.. I am curious at what RPMs the defueling will start happening (lower like in the high 2000s?) or is this a non issue if I want to keep RPMs under say 3000? And if I don't realistically need to start worrying about defueling until I get to 3500-4000 rpms, like it appears with the Gen 6BT guys??
