Suburban Conversion project-sump placement
I currently have a 1988 Suburban with a 6.2L in it and i am going to do an engine swap for a Cummins. I have come across at 2000 24valve ISB out of a Ford Service truck. The engine is in great shape and has less than 50K on it! the only problem is that the Sump is in the front of the engine. I was wondering if anyone knew if i could fit it in the suburban with the front sump or if i had to get the piece that made the sump in the rear. The suburban currently has 6 in suspenion lift with 35s and a dana 60 front, corporate rear.
Any help is greatly appreciated...thank you
