Engine spec

Does anyone know where I would find out HP and weigh on the engine that GMC used in the cabover trucks (ususally seen used for lawn mantaince). I am pretty sure it was built by Izuzu and it says it is a GMC 4000. I know it is turbo and it looks complete. I think it was bolted to an Allison tranny ( gone now). I would like to put this into a CJ7 if I can findout some info about HP and other things about it like direction of rotation and anything else I can get. I have done some web searchs but most of the hits don't tell me much. This is not a UD truck ( I think it is a few yrs older b4 they started calling them UD's).
