Which tranny and transfer case?

Swapping a 12V into an 88 F-250 4X4
Looking for a bullet proof auto should I go with a suncoast full billet NV4500 ? and what transfer case. Something to hold 700+HP

What kind of fab work will have to be done for the tranny and transfer case to fit up underneath the 88 F-250? is it just the cross member that will have to be altered?
