a conversion question

is there a diffrence in mount positions on the 4bt and the 6bt? how much furter back are the mounts on the 6bt? i have a cummins in an 82 gmc but i want to put one in our 84 454 powered 4x4. will there be clearence issues between the axle and the oil pan? if i bought the conversion kit for the mounts for the vans will it all go together. im looking for something more economy friendly for this truck. i also have a nv4500 i can use. any help would be appriciated. I would have liked to put a 4bt in it but i cant find any down in arizona and missed out on the man going to pick a couple up.
