2.8L CRD Conversion Help

I'm looking to start a 2.8L CRD conversion on a Jeep TJ, but need help finding a motor and extra info. After searching around on the forum, I know that a couple of theses conversions have been done before. Has anybody done this conversion recently? How difficult is the wiring in such a swap into a TJ? Other than sourcing a used motor, does Chrysler or anybody else sell the motor as a crate motor? What would a crate motor cost?

I know that Chrysler was at one time thinking about offering a crate motor (non egr) swap package for TJs and other Jeeps, but the last I heard that package was being scrapped for now. Does anybody else offer a swap package for this conversion?
