HELP!! OBD wiring 06 swap

I got my 06 commonrail motor powered up on the floor before i stuffed it in my 98 12v I am getting no communication to a Mac scanner or a snap-on, I have the can bus+ and - hooked up to my obd plug where the ticm was hooked up, I tried the other positions and no go!!! Autoworld told me today that my 60pin connector on the ecm has a white/violet wire in pin #28 that goes to the obd plug also, but when i lokked on the connector there was no wire, just a rubber plug... I will call them again tomorrow but If, anyone knows how to wire my 06 manual trans motor i would appreciate some help. everything else seems to be working but I cant see data to know..
