aussie conversion needs help

after suffering several transmission blow ups and limited knowledge of upgrades for the drivetrain i decided to upgrade motor gearbox and transfer case.
vehicle is 1500 club cab 99-2000 with 5.9 magnum v8. Donor vehicle 2003 3500 24valve cummins power complete with wiring harness .
instalation of drivetrain was achieved fairly easily ,i thought that once i had the motor in place i would organise an auto electrician but than i could not get anybody to take on the job,so i started splicing the 2 harness,s together.
has any body started such a project ,and could some one assist with technical info tracing such temperature and oil pressure bypassing security codes for ignition starting if necessary .
i would be happy to reimburse for outlays time etc for info.
