Does anybody know which turbo is on the 4bt?

I am in the process of researching and would like to do some serious performance enhancement before I install the engine into my 53' GMC.
Also, which pump in used on the 4bt, is it the P7100? or VP44 type. I have seen information that maybe both types are used. But when I go to NWcummins.com I see on there picture a P7100?

inline type.
Any information would be helpful.
Besides, I have learned more about diesels in ~9 months than working on them (chevy) many years ago as a grease monkey.
