Somebody told me once that around the time that Ford had the 6.9 in their pickups, John Deere offered a kit to install a 7.6 liter Deere engine in the Ford pickups. Has anybody ever heard of this? I was talking to a guy here a couple of months ago that said he saw a Ford pickup with a Deere engine in it over at the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza over in Indiana.
