adding cruise control

The only problem I have had with my conversion is in getting the cruise to work. The 91 Intercooled truck I got my wiring and motor did not have cruise. It was a manual tranny. I bought a new computer forthe 91 and all the cruise stuff, but it still does not work. Were these trucks not available with cruise and a std tranny.
