making a 4x4 dually ride softer

My buddy has a 1984 Chevy dually 4x4 in which he has installed a 6bt. He finds the ride to be too stiff. Not being a tdr member he has asked me to post a question asking for suggestions on improving the ride quality of the truck. Any ideas?
