calling all retrofit gurus!!

got an idea just need a little help deciding whether or not its worth messing with or worth going ahead.
I know where I can pick up an 96 C6500 regular cab kodiac for a cheap, cheap, cheap, price. I know that it is a gas burner with a5+2 or 6 speed tranny. I have a 93 cummins. What would be involved or would it be worth while to put the cummins into this truck? I know that I can go and purchase a used 6500 series truck with the cat diesel already in it and ready to go but I have this swap in my head and want your opinion
