We put this forum up to be a place for all of us to help ourselves in the difficult times we have come into.

With the high cost of diesel today and not a lot of relief in site, we are looking for ways to do more with less. Over my nine years on this site, I have been helped by a lot of very smart people. Lots of us have tried different things and shared the results with the rest of us. Let’s focus on this issue together.

A second objective is to focus on ways that we have discovered to make the other things in our lives more economical. It just seems natural that great people with great intelligence and offer a helping hand here as well.

Just one note of caution. We are looking for ways to make our lives more doable in today’s world. We are not looking to play the blame game or determine who is at fault. For the purpose of this forum, it is not important. Politically oriented threads will be moved to the political forum. Political comments in an otherwise informative thread will be deleted. We are looking for good solid everyday solutions.
