Hey gang. I just joined and thought I should introduce myself.

Here is my story.

My name is Lonnie. I am a tool and die maker living in Boise, Idaho. I have been lusting for a Cummins Dodge since the first time I drove my fathers '01. Well, I finally have one. I just bought an '02. I looked around here quite a bit and just couldn't bring myself to spend the $29,000.00 (which is what they were all asking for here). I did get one dealer talked down to $25,500.00 for an 01 with 60k on it. But, I told them I wouldn't go a nickel over 25k. As it ends up, I found one a dealer in Arizona was offering. After checking it all out with all the internet reports etc. I paid 24k for this one fully loaded with only 15k miles on it. It is silver sport trim package. And I absolutely love it. (I wish it was a 6 speed, though). First thing done was to put some decent tires on it and Line-X the bed. Now, I need to figure out all the little tricks to pump her up some. Nothing really radical. Air intake, exhaust, and power module is all for now. Anyone have any suggestions, horror stories, recommendations, etc?

Anyway, I wanted to thank everyone involved in this site. There is an amazing amount of info here. Keep up the good work, gang.

I know very little about diesels (which I am trying to change). When it comes to working on the motorcycle, snowmobile, etc. I can hold my own. So I ask that you please extend me a little grace as I learn.
