Will my fuel economy improve?

Thanks to all for the scoop on the VP44. Now that I have shelled out for the new lift pump and transfer pump, can I expect any increase in fuel economy?.....The truck seems to drive the same......My next purchase is some gauges, but thats a whole new game.......
