Towing

I am considering purshancing a 11,700 (GVWR) travel trailer.
I will be pulling this trailer accross the mountains with an 03 2500 48RE 4.10 long bed truck. My question is what gauges and exhaust brake would you recommend. Any tips on pulling would be appriciated.
