Newbie from Reno, Nevada

I am new to TDR as a subscriber but been lurking here(on the forums I could) for over a month since Luana, and I got our dually.
We are new to diesels however have owned a diesel pickup since 1988, and drove big rigs for over 25 years. Our first diesel truck was a 1986 Ford Diesel F250 which we drove for 12 years, and then in 2000 we bought a 1999 Ford Superduty which we still have............., and know I am not making any points here BUT we did buy the Dodge a month ago Decided we wanted another truck, and wanted something different rather than 2 0f the same, and also knew we did not want a Ford 6.0 with their bad track record so decided we wanted a Dodge, and always wanted a dually quad cab, and is what we ended up with
Also for the last 6 years been envolved in a diesel group in Northern California called the NorCal Diesel Group which includes owners of Ford, Dodge, and Chevy diesels, and that is where I learned of TDR through the Dodge owners of the club. So when we got our Dodge knew we had to join this fine group of who I know a few from the group we belong to that frequent here.
Having only had the Dodge a little over a month, and learning the difference, and there is a lot of difference between Ford motors, and Dodge motors have not done much to the truck other than straight piped from the cat back, did the silencer ring, and gutted the intake muffler, and put a drop-in air filter with adding an Edge EZ box for now, and now that holidays are almost over can concentrate on getting gauges, and the list goes on
I have done a lot to the Ford in perfromance goodies over the years, and expect to do the same with the Dodge as time, and money comes along being a retired person funds are not as available as as some but do my best in making our trucks go faster, and more efficiently
Anyway hope I have introduced myself in the right forum, and just wanted to let you know there was another new happy Dodge owner in the group.
Don't throw too much smack at me for owning a Ford as I feel a diesel lover is a diesel lover no matter what he drives. That is what I like about the NorCal Diesel Group as everyone kids alot to each other on what we drive but is all in fun, and when help is needed they are there to help no matter what brand you drive.
With that I am back to lurking on the forms as that is what I do the most of with my free time.
Glad to be a new member here
