Cummins/Dodge engine progression

Seems like I saw this on here somewhere or in one of the TDR isssues.

Could someone please give a chronological "history" of the engines and the upgrades through the years. Such as years of the 12v, 24v, the H.O. versions (and maybe what that means), etc? Then maybe we can put a sticky on it in this forum??
