Removing Muffler

I own a "02" 2500 with the H.O. diesle and six speed tranny. I love the way a cummins sounds, and the buckets of power it gives you.
My question is, if i remove the muffler and put a straight pipe in its place, will that void my warrenty???
I'd like to give it some more power and a better sound, but I don't have the money to do a big exaust system. Any help will be appreciated.
