I am getting ready to add a few (more) mods to my 'horse' and would like some advice on Testing Methods that will help me evaluate performance changes. Without access to a dyno, how do you guys test new mods? At
what speed/rpm you record info, what info you record, how you put a load on the engine, favorite hill - trailer - etc. How to evaluate smoke output?
I am getting ready to add:
1. Fast Acting EGT Probe from TRE - This is a trick probe that my good friend, Jon Ripple has made for his Mitsubishi turbo customers. He tells me that reaction time is instantanious.

2. Jammer II's from PDR
3. Bullydog RFI Intake System
4. PDR HX35/14wg
I'd like to take a systematic approach and be informed as to the changes each make. I could just put it all in and listen to my ***, but I guess I'd like to learn something here.
Thanks in advance - Eric Lee in Kalamazoo
