Looong beds!

I understand why we all want bigger cabs, but why not longer beds. I would really like a club cab w/ a 10'-12' bed. Ever try to haul a load of siding or 12' 2X for framing something? Yes I could drive a flat bed, but I like the canopy and nice looking bed sides too. Any thoughts on this?
