Diesel Fuel 2007

What will happen to the quality of the diesel fuel when the new low sulfer fuels come out in 2007. Will the BTU value still be the same for #1 and #2 fuels.I understand that there may be problems with the lubrication of the fuel pump as well.Will they put additives in the fuel or what?Is it time to sell my 1999 and go back to gasoline?I,m in Alaska and thanks for your replys
