What's the GVWR Of a E-450 cut-away van?

Were looking at cube van's for our electrical company and I get to do the research on these things. If a e-350 is a 1 ton (10,000 gvw) what's a 450 good for?

Were looking at used vans for cost reasons now. I'd like the 7.3L diesel over the 5.4L Triton V8. We run these vans as mobile shops with work bench, gen, and bolt bins full of stock, ladders, cable, conduit etc. We run failry heavy and will use up a 1 ton GVW easy.

What's the good & bad with the 7.3 diesel and the 5.4L Gas? I think the 5.4 would be very underpowered for a loaded truck.

Looking for some honest input on the ford vans, any help would be appreciated.
