why is diesel going up ?

i love my truck and wont even thing of getting rid of it but the fuel is getting way out of hand! yesterday 2.29 today 2.39 & a station that has always been high has 2.69.9/gal. why? gas 199.9? i dont get it. when i ordered this truck diesel was .99 gal & when i got del 3 months later 1.75. i cant win. but im still not useing my gasser that much, it only gets 10 mpg. sorry i had to vent.carl
