Help Fund

I have been reading for years about people having problems and strapped for cash, including me. We have 23855 members. If everyone here would donate $1.00 in an emergency fund for repairs of members trucks it would definately ease the pain. Whether it would cover all the cost or a fraction of it I would think it would benefit all of us. I do not know all the administration details of something like this and hopefully everyone here could contribute $1.00 or whatever they would like to a yearly fund or modified as needed.
What are your thoughts on this?. Have I finally gone off the deep end?.
This site is big enough that we should take care of our own.
