GM and Allison question

I have this ongoing feud with one of my chevy buddies about what engines GM uses with the Allison tranny. He says that all 2500HDs with the 6.0 have the allison tranny. I told him I thought the allison was only used with the duramax and the 8.1. Can someone verify this and possibly show me some proof?
