Valley Fuel Injection, Woodland, CA??

Anybody have any experiance with them? My VP44 is dying (p0216) and I know it came from them by way of Rip. I called them and the said If i pulled it off they could test it for me to see what had gone wrong. My truck is my only transportation and it will take close to two hours to get there so that makes it difficult to do. I cant decide if I want to just order a new one from II and be done with it or see if Valley can help me out.
