Been driving an '01 powerstroke

Since my truck is down, I've been using my Dad's truck as he is out of town. Driving that truck makes me miss my cummins more and more every day. Lack of power, crappy acceleration, and it shudders really bad right around the 1500 rpm range

'01 4x4 auto ext. cab long bed F250 powerstroke

I wonder if something's wrong with it. I thought the 7.3's were better than this?
