Is the price of fuel impact'g your decisions on purchasing accesories for your truck?

I just found myself practically going ahead with a nice aftermarket accessory for my truck. Specifically, an aluminum bumper. Yes, I would have had to watch where my rib eye money went and eat pasta for a couple of weeks... and alocate my upcoming Xmas bonus towards it.... But- could have probably made it work.

Then I really looked at what fuel is costing and more importantly... what it will cost. I had to regretfully make a practical and prudent decision to hold off on an item that I have been wanting for quite some time.

Anyone else have thier "bombing" decisions altered due to fuel costs?
