MB Diesel Info!!
I saw an FL70 on the highway about 2 weeks ago and noticed a badge on the side of the hood just below the "FL70" insignia..."Powered by Mercedes Benz"!! So, yesterday I stopped by the Frieghtliner dealership for some info on the MB motors available...I have in my hand a brochure that may lead to some insight of things to come to our HD Rams in the future:
MBE900 4cyl. 4.3L 190hp@2300 520lbs torque
MBE900 6cyl. 6.4L 190-300hp @ 2300 520-860lbs
The HP isnt a big deal ... but the torque seems to be stronger than Cat or Cummins....
