EPA charges on.....................
Cummins, Inc. announced that they had recieved a letter on June 6, 2001 from the EPA that stated the Agency would NOT back off their October, 2002 deadline for "cleaner burning diesels". Cummins seems to be elated as they are saying they will be compliant. It is rumored that other engine mfg.s are shaking like a dog trying to pass a peach seed as they are unsure they can meet the deadline. Cat is one of those. Maybe that is why they are looking to DC/MBZ to help them with a fuel system to help clean up their act. You can read the whole story on Etrucker.com
