hooking with a stock clutch???

ok i want to hook next weekend i got some upgrades see signature.... but stock clutch and i got injectors coming in hope to have them in b 4 this pull...but my brother has a 7.3 with a dual disc i have pulled it a few times but he pulled all of last season with a stock clutch and only burned it 1ce his 1st time so can i try 2 pull with a stock clutch or is this a bad idea???if so what gear? 4 hi or low? i got 4:10's so let me know thanks
