Dead Truck, need help!!

I was driving down I-25 to Pueblo and when I went to downshift, the RPMs went to 3500 when I hit the clutch. I immediately shut the key off and coasted to the shoulder of the off ramp. When I attempted to restart, RPM's went through the roof again... linkage is working normally and all external hardware looks fine. Here comes the big problem, the truck is on the side of the highway with my trailer attached (43' Gooseneck 3 car hauler). Is there anyone on the Colorado Front Range with a gooseneck equipped dually that would be willing to help me out by hauling the trailer back to Co Springs?

BTW, the pump was rebuilt by a Bosch rebuilder in Denver exactly two months ago this week.
