Waldon loader???
I am going to go bid on a 8500C Waldon brand loader at a local equipment auction. I don't know what the worth of one is in good shape as this on seemed to be. It has a 4BT-100hp. engine in it. The whole machine only weighs 11,000lbs. so most of that h.p. is just to run the hydrostatic system. We had to jump it at 6 above zero, but no telling what the wind chill was. It did run well, actually it screamed!!! There is also a 510 International there along with a Dresser/International 515. The 515 has a 6bt in it and runs great. The 515 would be outta my price range, but the 510 may sell cheap, it has the IH 4 cyl. diesel in it.
Anyone with knowledge about either please chime in. The sale is the 29th of Jan. The Waldon has a picture on Dennis Polk Equipment - Farm and Industrial Equipment Sales, Equipment Rental, Auction Services, and Tractor Parts. Dennis Polk equipment, New Paris, Indiana. Thanks in advance, JJuday.
