Is driving out of the way to fuel up worth it?
Here is a link to a calculator to help you determine whether it is worth going out of your way to find cheaper Diesel. In the form, where it asks for your tank capacity, insert the amount you expect to put in your tank, not what it will hold. I think this makes the calculation more accurate. Play with the numbers some and you can determine the price difference that makes it worth the trip to drive 10 miles, 20 miles etc.
Bankrate.com calculator -- Will driving to a cheaper gas station save money?
For those of you with some fueling choices, I hope this assists you.
Regards,
Jon
