Inline-6 Diesel

If the Cummins inline-6 diesel engine is better than a Powerstroke than why does'nt Navistar have their own in a version for the Ford pickups?
My next truck will be the Dodge with the Cummins. Another question is what improvements do you see with the ISB motor in the near future? Thanks Joe
