cost of gasoline vs diesel fuel

I don't mean to beat this to death but what is going on. In my area (Western Pa.) you can buy gasoline for as low as 1.099 but the same sations that sell gas that low are still selling diesel fuel for 1.579. I can't understand it. Gasoline has come down .20 to .30 cents and diesel fuel hasn't dropped at all. I think there is a conspiracy to keep people from buying diesel powered vehicles. Anyone travelling to western Pa. be sure to fill up before you get here.
