Does the term Premium Diesel mean anything

When you see Premium Diesel advertised - what is premium anyway? Does it mean a higher Cetane rating, different blend or something without no real "receipe" Any thoughts? And really what I notice is that a station will have ONLY Premium Diesel, there isn't a non-premium available.
