ANtifreeze disposal

Getting ready to change my coolant out and I am having a hard time finding a place that will take the old coolant. One of the nation chain auto stores that take oil and batteries said they didnt take it and that I should just dump it down the drain. That doesnt seem right, does it? What does everyone else do? Any ideas would help. Kinda putting the job off until I figure the disposal issue out.

PS The coolant is the orginal coolant that was in the truck New from the dealer, it that makes a difference.
