Dodge Dealer RIP-OFF....

Well yesterday I decided to drop down to my local dodge dealer to pick up a fuel filter cartridge for my 2001 Ram.

Now keep in mind this is my first fuel filter change.

I told the parts guy... give me a couple of them..... he pulls the info up on his computer ... then asks... "you sure you want 2 of them?" He tells me they are $64.90 Cdn each !!!!! Thats about $42.00 US.
I took only one....and once I got back to my shop I then phoned Cummins and was told they are $18.25 Cdn which is about $12.50 US. Now I can see how these dealerships can afford to build fancy showrooms with all that glass and polished aluminum. I guess it pays to shop around.....
