Puegot, 4-60 NA diesel, need spare parts or engine
I picked up a boat last year with 2 Puegot 4-60 naturally aspirated diesel engines in it. The engines run great, smooth running and good on fuel ( 3.7 gal./ hr. for both at 2100 rpm ).
I pulled the water pump to rebuild, took it to a local shop and they pressed the shaft the wrong way and cracked the housing. I found a replacement south of London, UK 3 weeks later and continued on.
Anybody know of a spare one of these engines laying around that runs or not that I could pick up for parts? Or just a spare water pump?
Anybody out there have any exp. with Peugot diesel engines?
