Best diesel fuel?

I'm new so this may be a dumb question.

Can anyone recommend the best diesel fuel for my new truck?

I've seen some stations that sell 'premium'. Is it worth the extra $$$?

What about the big-rig truck stops?

Also, are there any additives I should consider adding with each tank?
