State bought 12 6.0 PSDs
Here's humor. A friend of mine works for the state, and I found out today that they bought 12 F450s quad/chassis cab with the 6.0. They are going to be fitting them with a box in lieu of the bed, and given to the State Patrol for random check point scales. He was talking to the mechanic that will be getting them fitted, and the mech. was betting on having to replace all of the engines within the first year. He doubts that the dealer will warranty them stating "They were over loaded".
Evidently they were ordered last year, and took delivery the first part of this year, before all the known problems started really showing themselves.
 Half a million tax dollars well spent!
The Mech even wishes that they had opted for the CTD's. It's the only diesel that he trusts to not fail, and they need so little maintenance.
