Duramax

My boss has a 01 Duramax with 78000mi. Last week he said that he had an oil leak. So he took it to the dealer and come to find out he had lost an injector. They told him that they just work loose after time and that they would probably do it again. I was just wondering for my own satisfaction is this true? Is this something you have to worry about with the Cummins? I thought this was a bunch of crap.
